How do I book a stay at Terracota House?
You can book directly on this website by selecting your dates on the homepage or Book page. Direct bookings are confirmed once payment is completed, and you'll receive an instant email confirmation with all your reservation details.
Is it cheaper to book directly than through Airbnb or Booking.com?
Booking directly with us often works out better, since there's no third-party service fee added to your total, and you can message us directly with any questions before or during your stay.
What is the minimum number of nights?
A minimum stay of 2 nights is required for most dates, though this may vary during peak season.
Do prices include VAT and tourist tax?
All prices shown include VAT at the statutory rate. Local tourist tax does not apply.
What time is check-in and check-out?
Check-in is available from 3:00 PM, and check-out is by 12:00 PM. If you're arriving earlier or need a later check-out, just message us in advance and we'll do our best to accommodate you.
Is early check-in or late check-out possible?
Whenever our schedule allows it, yes - just let us know your expected arrival or departure time ahead of your stay and we'll confirm if it's possible.
How do I get the keys?
Full check-in instructions, including how to access the property, are sent to you before your arrival.
How many guests does the house sleep?
Terracota House comfortably sleeps up to 6 guests, with 3 bedrooms and 2 extra beds available on request.
Does the house have a private pool?
Yes - Terracota House has its own private pool, exclusively for the use of guests staying at the property.
Is parking available?
Yes, free private parking is available on site for guests.
Is WiFi included?
Yes, free WiFi is available throughout the house at no extra charge.
Is the property suitable for families with young children?
Yes - a baby cot and/or extra bed can be arranged in advance, subject to availability.
Are pets allowed?
Yes, we welcome pets with prior notification. A supplement of €40 per pet, per stay applies (€, paid during the stay - not charged online), with a maximum of two pets per booking.

São Brás de Alportel sits inland, with the Algarve's beaches a short drive away - perfect as a peaceful base for exploring both the coast and the countryside.
What is the cancellation policy?
For direct bookings, the cancellation conditions shown at the time of booking apply. For stays booked through Airbnb or Booking.com, that platform's own cancellation policy applies instead.
Can I smoke inside the house?
No, smoking is not permitted inside the house.
Can I host a party or event at the house?
No - Terracota House is located in a quiet residential neighborhood, and parties, events, or additional visitors outside your reservation are not allowed.
